Fruit pies are round pies, made of two thin sheets of ostia between which there is the fruit, the sugar and the nuts. Orange and Chocolate Pie's ingredients are: Wheat Flour, Starch, Sunflower Oil, Salt for the pie and Orange (50%), Sugar, Chocolate (7,5%), Lemon juice for the filling.

They can be eaten as a light sweet after a heavy meal but also as a nutritious snack at home, at school, at the office. In Greece they are usually offered at a wedding, engagement or baptism.
