In the ancient world, Greece was once one of the foremost producers of wine. However, in contrast to the country’s important wine heritage, modern Greek wines are only just now emerging in the rest of the world. The main reason is that Greece doesn't have a big production of wines, thus the exports are very poor and the rest of the world doesn't know the quality of contemporary Greek wines.
Greece produces all international varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot etc, but also produces local varieties, some of which are of a very high quality. In our wine collection you will find most of the Greek wine varieties like Assyrtiko, Moschofilero, Malagouzia, Savvatiano, Retsina, Agiorgitiko, Xinomavro, Vinsanto, Muscat of Samos, Mavrodaphne.
